I'm ready

Last night Jason and I went out to eat to celebrate Valentine's day and also to spend some time together. We wento to Fireside pies which is a pizza place but we love eating there we had to wait a little longer that usual but we didn't care. We had a nice dinner with good food, we had the time to talk and talk about all the things that we have had in our life together and making our family grow. I'm glad we had the time to do this, we really needed it because in about 4 days we'll be very busy once the baby is here.

Baby's nursery is ready, my mom helped me a lot to decorate it and i loved how it looks, I'll show pictures of it until the baby is born. I'm also ready to meet this baby, my belly got bigger than Andrew's, it looks like I'm carrying a watermelon because again, this baby is very breech and there is nothing i ca do. Like i said i have only 4 days left, the last 2 weeks have been very hard for me. Walking, sleeping and even just to do groceries is a pain but it will almost be over.

I hope i can make it until Wednesday,today i could not go to the groceries because i started to feel something different in my belly, it was like a fullness feeling and pressure, i never felt this before with AJ and it made think that this baby might come earlier. Anyway if baby come either tomorrow or Wednesday, I'm so ready and very excited!!

BIG BOY bed.

Well, it has been almost a week since we did the big transition from crib to a big boy bed. I got him sheets with cars and trucks which he loves, to make it easier.

Well, Andrew did so well!!!! I'm so proud of him, he is such a good boy except that he's a picky eater but i can deal with it. We started doing it at his nap time, he wasn't happy at first when we said it was time for a nap because he was playing, jumping on the bed and having so much fun on his new bed. We put him down and he started to cry for a little bit but at the end he felt asleep. That night, I tried again and laid him down on the bed, we did our prayers, kisses, teddy bear, cars blankie and we said night night to everyone in his room and he just stayed in there until he felt asleep. He did not get up all night, even in the morning when he woke up he stayed on his bed, playing a little bit with his cars until i went o get him. All this week has been like that, one time at nap time he open the door but he closed right away and then he went to sleep. Every morning even though we leave his door open he doesn't leave his room, he stays there just playing on the bed or with his toys. Well it might not last very long, I'm sure one of this days I'll hear him calling me to open the gate upstairs. so far, so good.

I'm glad that it wasn't such a big adjustment for him and that he is happy in there with more room to move around on the bed.

My mom is here!!

I'm so happy that my mom is finally here!! it has been only 4 months since i saw her last time but it seemed to be a lot more. I'm so relieve that she is here because having Jason away from home during the week makes me nervious now that i'm almost at the end of this pregnancy. Andrew is so happy that abuelita is here too. He doesn't leave her alone, it's so funny because if she gets up to get some water or if she goes upstairs for just a minute, he goes afther her right away saying ita,ita and grabs her hand to bring her back were they were playing. I love how close they got to be in minutes. just to give you an idea, she is like his new toy.
